Irish Greetings are on display at the Albany Public Library, 161 Washington Ave., in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.
A collection of old postcards donated to the Irish American Heritage Museum on Clinton Avenue have been loaned to the library for display during the month of March.
The majority of the early 20th century St. Patrick's Day postcards were printed in England and Germany and were mailed to the United States.
The postcards belonged to Josephine Hanson of Albany, who donated them to the museum. She had collected them since 1970, said Joyce Hu, coordinator at the museum, who set up the exhibit …
